Continuing the Journey

It's Soccer Season Again!

Yes, folks, it's that time of year again...spring soccer! While Carson was hardly a soccer superstar in the fall last year, he definitely enjoyed being on a team so we signed him up again. I must say, he definitely LOOKS like he knows what he's doing this year!

Saturday was the first game for Team Bumblebee. Wondering why they call themselves Team Bumblebee?
Mystery solved, huh?! Don't you love those yellow-and-black uniforms?! Mommy and Meggie had to be late for the game, so Daddy took a few action shots of Carson...
...and a couple "real" shots of Carson. First, a being-constantly-redirected-by-the-Coach shot...
...followed closely by the folding-his-arms-while-the-other-kids-yell-directions shot.
Hey, at least he has fun! Oh, and he has plenty of fans, including these two who claim to be his #1 fans...
...also known as Big Sister Meggie and Future Wife Kelsey! (Carson tells Kelsey all the time that he's going to marry her. Too cute!) Here he is getting an after-the-game hug from his future wife...
...and rehashing the high points of the game with his big sister.
Meggie wanted Carson to take a "crazy" picture with her...
...but after two attempts, it was clear he wasn't going to stick out his tongue. (Why DOES she do that in pictures?!?!)

Kelsey came over after the soccer game so she and Meggie could lay out and work on their tans before we leave for Florida (just four days from today!). Carson and Daddy decided they were gonna be mean to the girls...
...but Carson definitely lived to regret that decision!
Poor little guy got SOAKED! Guess it was a good thing Meggie and Kelsey didn't know it was MY idea for the guys to get 'em wet with the water gun! (Shhhhh, don't tell 'em!!)
